Hi! I am a 2 year old,lab mix and special needs doggie, my name is Benny. My brother and I were really sick, when we came to live with my foster mom. She calls it Distemper. My brother went over the Rainbow Bridge, but my foster mom helped me through the disease (they call is emphysema). I have trouble breathing because of my fight. I am still looking for my forever home. But my forever home has to be a little bit special. I need a quieter place to chill out most of the time. If I get excited I have to go lay down and breathe for a bit. I love to eat my bones and lay in the sun. They have me on awesome meds that have helped me breath SOO much better! It really only need them most in the summer months. They cost $20 a month.

Most of my day is spent with my foster brothers and sister. I like to chew on bones and get rubbed on. I am fully potty trained because we have a doggie door...but that was never much of a problem for me. I love treats and I do great with other dogs, but I don't know what a cat is...but we could probably be friends.

I am looking for a forever home. I ca not be a running buddy because of my lungs, but I can be a lap dog that is a loyal companion. I don't bark much, but I'll let you know if something is amiss. So, if you have a spare ottoman for me; I have love for you!!!
